Healthcare Worker

UK Healthcare visas are currently available to those working in the healthcare sector, especially caregivers, nurse assistants and registered nurses.

Our requirements:-

– must have at least 2 years’ experience in the healthcare sector
– some form of qualification / certification in the healthcare sector
– max. age of 55 years old
– from India, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Africa or Sri Lanka

In addition UK Visas & Immigration state that you must have:-

– a min. of 4 in IELTS General UKVI in listening, reading, writing and speaking. Exception: if you have a Bachelors’ degree and get it certified by ECCTIS this comes with an English Proficiency statement and you do not need to take IELTS.
– a Police Clearance Certificate covering the last 10 years ( if you are from the Philippines we also request a copy of your NBI too)
– min. £1270 or the equivalent in local currency (eg. 95,000 Philippine pesos; 550,000 Sri Lankan rupees; 150,000 Indian rupees)
– A Tb test medical certificate (this you do later when you have a job offer)

How To Apply
To apply send the following documents in one go

1. your CV in word format
2. your passport copy
3. a copy of your relevant qualifications/certifications ( including any BAs or BSc degrees )
4. your IELTS General report or Ecctis report
5. your Police Clearance Certificate and if from the Philippines, your NBI as well.
6. proof of funds (bank statement or bank letter) showing you have at least the equivalent of £1270 in your local currency
7. 
a photo, waist upwards, 300 x 300 pixels, in jpeg format

How To Become A Registered Nurse in the UK

To become a registered nurse in the UK you need to register with the Nursing & Midwifery Council ( https://www.nmc.org.uk )

For this you need:-

1. Proof of your English Language Proficiency

EITHER
in IELTS Academic min. 7.0 for listening, reading and speaking, and min. 6.5 in writing
OR
OET in Nursing, 350 in listening, reading and speaking, and 300 in writing
and

2. A degree in BSc in Nursing

You then apply to get a PIN No from the Nursing & Midwifery Council, and you need to pass
     – the Computer Based Test which can be taken in your home country
     – the OSCE practical test in the UK once you have a job post in the UK
